Google launches Shared folders and multiple file upload in Google Docs

Google has finally launched one of the most requested Google Docs features — the ability to share folders. Shared folders make it easy for a team of people to collaborate on projects that require multiple documents, spreadsheets or presentations. If you have a group of items you want to share, all that you have to do is put them into one folder and share it. This could be a game changed for the small/mid size enterprise market.
This could be a game changer for the small/mid size enterprise market. Earlier this year Google fired a shot across Microsoft's bow and went after Exchange with the addition of Outlook Sync and ActiveSync that enables real-time push of mail, calendar and contacts to mobile devices. With the launch of shared folders, Microsoft's firm hold on the file server market is now under attack as well.
