Yesterday's nasty Twitter bug seems to be top news for today's headlines possible because a 17 year old, Australian boy is claiming responsibility. Mashable offers 3 top news stories in social media for today in their article, "Top 3 Stories in Social Media and Tech This Morning" as well as, more about the Twitter bug that disabled Tweets everywhere.

Sometime before the end of 2010, Twitter plans to launch a Twitter Analytics dashboard to help users identify and better understand just how followers interact with tweets. This database will help businesses acquire a better understanding of their relationship with their Twitter followers. A key note of importance about this Twitter Analytics dashboard is that it plans to be free.
